COVID-19 Updates 

We are excited to let you know that we are gradually preparing to re-open our clinic in the coming weeks!

Our therapists are looking forward to providing treatments to help with your anxiety, stress, muscle stiffness/soreness and general pain symptoms which we suspect may have been exasperated over the many weeks of self-isolation. Don’t worry, we will have your back again soon!

We also wanted to let you know that, while we were closed, we have been reviewing and implementing more rigorous sanitation and in-clinic procedures to ensure that your therapist can treat you in a safe environment. All our new policies and procedures meet or exceed the standards described by Ministry of Health Ontario, and our regulatory body the College of Massage Therapist's of Ontario.

 

To give you an idea of what these enhanced procedures may look like:

  • Our clinic has been deep cleaned and sanitized 

  • Hand sanitizer will be available for all clients upon entry of the clinic

  • We have implemented rotational sanitation procedures for all common surfaces, multiple times throughout the day

  • Anything we are unable to sanitize has been removed from the room/clinic

  • Treatment rooms are fully sanitized, and all linens/blankets, etc. are replaced after each treatment

  • Our therapists have been outfitted with the required Personal Protective Equipment (‘PPE’)

  • Clients coming into the clinic will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of their time in the clinic and treatment room, if you cannot provide your own mask, one will be provided for you

  • We are practicing physical distance in the common areas of the clinic (reception / staff room / hallways)

  • We are no longer accepting cash; so please be prepared to pay for your treatment using a credit/debit card or e-transfer

 

We will also be conducting a mandatory pre-screening form to clients (through email or phone call). This is done 24hrs before your expected appointment. If a client fails (answers "yes" to more than one question) the pre-screen form, the clients appointment is at risk for being rescheduled. We realize some questions may relate to a clients chronic, previous ailments and considerations to continue treatment is up to the therapist. Therapists will also undergo a pre-screen including a temperature check, upon entry to the clinic to make sure they do not feel unwell/have no symptoms of COVID-19.

We do understand that these are still unprecedented times and we hope to continue to move forward. We are thankful government officials have determined it is safe to open.
